Ultrahold® 8 is an acrylate-based terpolymer for the production of hair setting preparations with particularly good hydrocarbon compatibility. It is a prototropic polymer that is used as a film-forming agent in hair care products, particularly hair sprays and setting lotions. This product is a fine, white, free-flowing granulate, with a faint characteristic odor, that dissolves in the usual organic solvents to give a hair care products a clear to slightly opaque solution.
