Salcare® SC 91 is an anionic acrylic copolymer dispersed in medicinal grade white oil, and is designed for use in a range of applications in the cosmetics industry. This product is used to enhance the performance of skin and hair care formulations, with a typical application level in a skin cream of around 2% polymer as supplied. It is an off-white mobile liquid, with a slight acrylic odor, and primarily functions as a thickener, suspending and stabilizing agent, gelling agent, opacifier, and promotes good spreading characteristics.
